- Mecha Pandora CB-01 -

As suggested by ~Manden, I thought it'd be cool to draw Pandora as a mecha robot It was really fun! Pandora looks really different as a robot, don't you think? It's kind of hard to make a robot cat... On top of that I'm not very adept at machines and robots and stuff. But I think I did a pretty good job.

I didn't look up any reference for this one, it all purely came out of my head. I thought of the Megaman "look" of smooth, shiney, colorful steel. I've never really gotten into Megaman, but I'm still familiar with the style

Obviously, her color had to be red I'm doning alot of red, aren't I? Ah well XD It's her best and favorite color! I substituted it for all her brown patches to make her more robot like... but I wonder what she'd look like with brown instead?

Her eyes are a bit wierd... I tried to make the pupils look like cameras. I think I kind of failed >.> I should've made them shinier...

The other disappointment I had was how the grey shadeings on her white armor came up yellow colored. Meh... I don't know why it does that. Oh well. I should've used a darker grey, but then it would've been too noticeable. >.>

Hope you like it! I'll get back to work on the calender tommorow.

(P.S. - CB-01 stands for "Calico Bot 01" Pandora is really a calico cat... even though she doesn't really show alot of patches since it's mostly on her back... and ther's no patches at all here.... ehhh... I guess it could also mean "Cat Bot 01" ; )
